TERMS & CONDITIONS
Availability  

All the Scotch Malt Whisky Society's (the “Society”) products and services are subject to availability. In the event of a web site transaction by you, such a transaction will  not be considered as a  live purchase, but a request for products and services. If we are unable to cause or procure the supply of a particular item / product, we will notify you at the earliest.

 
Acceptance  

As all products and services are subject to availability, there will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually process your request and cause the goods to be made available to you or when the goods are caused to be dispatched to you. As stated above (under Availability) your order is an offer to purchase from us through our partner licensed retailer. This means that nothing amounts to any acceptance, either expressly or impliedly, of that offer until we actually process and cause the dispatch of the goods to you. At any point up till then, we may decline your request to have the goods supplied to you without giving any reason. At the moment that the goods are processed and dispatched, and not before, a contract will be made between you and us for causing the supply of the products and thereafter you will be charged for the goods.

We cannot cause alcoholic products to be sold and / or supplied to anyone who is less than 25 years of age. For this reason, we may refuse an order at our discretion and orders may not be transferred from the customer to any other person. Further, the sale of alcoholic products is subject to the law applicable in India and its respective states including the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the time being. We shall not be held liable for any breach of applicable laws committed on your part.

 
Advance Payment  

We will only cause and / or procure the despatch of the goods against the receipt of advance payment.

 
Returns  

We hope that you will be happy with your purchase. However, should you feel it necessary to return an item, which may be done only due to reasons attributable to incorrect delivery or damaged goods, we aim to make the returns process as simple and expeditious as possible. To arrange this, please contact us. Please note the Society cannot replace any whisky bottles that have been opened. We must be notified of damaged goods within 2 days of delivery.
